This month marks the launch of a new OBA member benefit called Oklahoma
Bar Circle. It is a social
networking site designed for use by Oklahoma lawyers. It's
been described as "Facebook for Oklahoma lawyers", but
don't let that scare you away. In fact, many have already found
it to be a useful tool.
"[One] use for the site is its mentoring potential," OBA
President Jon Parsley said. "Users can post
a message seeking advice, and that message can be read by hundreds
of other lawyers who can respond with the information you need."
As with every new tool, there is a slight learning curve. Jim
Calloway has put
together a tutorial in this month's Oklahoma Bar Journal that
you'll find eases you into this new realm of Internet services
provided to you by the OBA.
You'll find a link to the login
page in the Featured Links section
of the OBA home page.
