Ask A Lawyer Free Legal Advice
Every year, Oklahomans with legal questions may call a toll-free number from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and speak to an attorney at no charge. This year's Ask A Lawyer event is Thursday, April 27.
Questions by Phone:
The statewide number to call is 800-456-8525, Tulsa-area residents can call 918-838-8770. Several counties across the state will also be holding local call-in events. The phone numbers for each county participating will scroll across the bottom of the screen while the Ask A Lawyer TV show is airing on OETA at 7 p.m. that evening.

This year will mark the 39th year OBA members offered free legal advice to the public. Last year, two hundred and seventy-two attorneys answered 1,421 phone calls and 300 emails, in both English and Spanish, across 32 different counties. Volunteers donated 483 hours in time and $72,450 in billable hours.
