LHL DISCUSSION GROUPS TO HOST OCTOBER MEETINGS The Lawyers Helping Lawyers monthly discussion group will meet Thursday, Oct. 3, in Oklahoma City at the office of Tom Cummings, 701 NW 13th St. The group will also meet Thursday, Oct. 10, in Tulsa at the office of Scott Goode, 1437 S. Boulder Ave., Ste. 1200. The Oklahoma City women’s discussion group will meet Thursday, Oct. 24, at the firstfloor conference room of the Oil Center, 2601 NW Expressway. Each meeting is facilitated by committee members and a licensed mental health professional. The small group discussions are intended to give group leaders and participants the opportunity to ask questions, provide support and share information with fellow bar members to improve their lives – professionally and personally. NEW LAWYER SWEARING-IN The swearing-in ceremony for new bar members is scheduled for Oct. 8 in the Oklahoma state Capitol House Chambers. There will be three sessions: 9 a.m. for OCU, 10 a.m. for OU and 11 a.m. for TU and out-of-state graduates.
